Adoption Fees
Adoption fees help cover the cost of caring for the animals at Pets to Go including the cost of vaccinations, spaying or neutering surgery, and microchipping for dogs, cats. Call us for the current cost of adopting a pet.
Pets to Go accepts payment by cash, check, or credit card (name on credit card must match the name on the photo identification).
Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt an animal.
- A current photo ID is required to process an adoption and proof of your current address. Could be a utility bill or your lease agreement.
- There could be an adoption fee ranging from $50 to $300 dollars.
- All dogs and cats must be spayed/neutered—which the shelter is legally required to do—before going to their forever home.
- All dogs and cats must have a microchip implanted in them for identification purposes.
- The adoption center has a right to turn down anyone who isn’t deemed fit for adoption.
